The fourth Open Day was once again blessed with a warm and dry afternoon.
Alumni travelled from far and wide, some returning after only a couple of years, for others after 70 years away from the school!
As ever it was great to see so many faces and play the guessing game in trying to put names to them all.
We wished Michael Robert Southworth all the very best in his retirement after 50 years of amazing service to the school. Martin Garrod (Head Master), Tom Lindsay (Alumni) and Mike himself all spoke and entertained the healthy-sized crowd.
The BBQ, beer and light teas went down well, our thanks to Robinsons Catering, Burton Brewery and our very own AFS for their support.
We are currently looking at our options for next year and how we might boost the numbers attending. If you have any thoughts or ideas please let us know by email,
