The third Open Day was once again blessed with a warm and dry afternoon.
Alumni travelled from far and wide, some returning after only a couple of years, for others after 60 years away from the school!
As ever it was great to see so many faces and play the guessing game in trying to put names to them all.
We paid our respects to Duncan Hodgetts (2001-2008) who sadly died earlier this year. Family and friends planted a cherry tree at the front of school in his memory and we look forward to seeing it flourish in the future.
The BBQ, beer and light teas went down well, our thanks to Robinsons Catering, Bird’s Brewery and our very own AFS for their support.
We are currently looking at our options for next year and how we might boost the numbers attending. If you have any thoughts or ideas please let us know by email,
